Itaconate Assay Kit
Itaconate Assay Kit
Itaconate is an immunometabolite produced by activated macrophages via the enzyme ACOD1 (IRG1). Recently, it has emerged as a central regulator of inflammatory responses, modulating key pathways including NF-κB, NLRP3 inflammasome activation, and Nrf2-mediated antioxidant responses.
Interest in itaconate has surged in recent years. As a result, it’s being explored as a therapeutic target for autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular inflammation, neurodegeneration, and also infectious disease. Researchers need reliable ways to measure itaconate levels in cells and tissues—but existing methods typically require mass spectrometry.
Our FRET-based assay directly measures itaconate concentration in real time. No enzyme-coupled reactions, no secondary readouts. Just mix your sample and read.
